Vacancy Details of Rourkela Steel Plant Recruitment –
Specialist
Doctor & Hospital Administrator – 30 Posts
- (Anaesthesia-1, Dental-1, Dermatology-2 General Surgery-5,
General Medicine-5, Microbiology O&G-2, Ophthalmology-1, Orthopaedics-2
Paediatrics-1, Pathology-1 Pulmonary Medicine Psychiatry-1, Radiology-1,
Transfusion Medicine Emergency Medicine-1.) - Age – Maximum age should be less than 41 years
- Qualification – MD/MS/DNB/MDS in Anaesthesia /
Dental / Dermatology/ General Surgery / General Medicine / Microbiology /
O&G/ Ophthalmology / Orthopaedics / Paediatrics / Pathology / Pulmonary
Medicine / Psychiatry / Radiology from a university/ institute recognized by
Medical Council of India/ National Board of Examination. - Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in the relevant
discipline after MD/MS/DNB/MDS.
Medical
Officer – 07 Posts
- MBBS from a university/ institute recognized by Medical Council
of India. - Minimum 01-year post qualification experience (after internship)
in a recognized Medical College/ Hospital/ Institution. - The qualification must be from Universities or Institutes
recognized/accredited by council/bodies like MCI/DCI set up by Central/State
Government. Candidates having prescribed qualification, post qualification
experience etc, as given above, can apply against relevant posts and
Discipline. Candidates who have not acquired the prescribed qualification,
experience etc, as mentioned above, on or before the closing date of submitting
application i.e. 30/11/2020 need not apply.
Salary – 25,000/- to 58,000/- per Month

2020 –
- Candidates belonging to the General/OBC/EWS category will be
required to pay an Application Fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). In
addition to the applicable Application Fee, candidates will have to bear the
Bank charges, if any. - C/ST/PWD/ESM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment
of Application Fee.
Mode of Payment for Rourkela Steel Plant Recruitment
2020 –
- State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to collect the
application fee through SB Collect on behalf of SAIL, RSP. - Candidates will be
required to pay the Application Fee through Net Banking or Credit / Debit Card. The fee shall not be collected by any other mode. Fee once paid shall not be refunded
under any circumstances.
Mode of Selection for Rourkela Steel Plant 2020 –
- Eligible candidates will be required to appear interview for the
posts of Specialist and Hospital Administrator - Eligible candidates for the post of Medical Officer will be
required to appear in the Written Test in English on the appointed date. - The written test will consist of 100 Objective type questions of
post specific. The duration of the test would be for two hours. The minimum
qualifying marks in the written test for EWS/Unreserved posts will be
determined based on 50 percentile score. - For SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/PWD candidates, the minimum
qualifying marks will be 40 percentile score. - Candidates who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted
for Interview in order of merit, at the ratio of 1:3 c) Date, Time & Place
of Written Test / Interview will be intimated to eligible / short-listed
candidates through Post, Email, and SAIL website.

- Eligible and interested candidates should submit their duly
filled in application as per the prescribed APPLICATION FORMAT given at
ANNEXURE-I, neatly typed or printed in the capital letter on a plain paper of A4
size, furnishing details. The application format can also be downloaded from
the Company’s website www.sail.co.in at the link “Careers” with URL as http://sailcareers.com. - One recent colored passport size photograph of the candidate
must be pasted at the space provided on the application form with a full
signature on the photograph.
Candidates must submit the self-attested photocopies of the
following certificates and mark sheets with the application form, showing the
proof of :
- Date of Birth (Matriculation or equivalent certificate)
- Educational / Professional Qualification.
- Caste/Category certificate, if applicable.
- Valid Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of
India/Dental Council of India or State Medical/Dental Council. - Experience Certificate showing relevant post-qualification
experience. - E-receipt towards payment of Application Fee
- Photo Identity Proof (Voter ID / Aadhaar Card / Passport /
Driving License) - NOC from present employer, if employed under PSUs/Autonomous
Bodies/Govt. Department.
The envelope containing the application must be superscribed “Application
for the post of ____________________ against Advt. No. 02/2020”, and sent
to the following address by Registered Post/Speed Post. No other means/mode of
application shall be accepted.
